A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, died on Tuesday following a recent announcement of a uncommon blood cancer diagnosis.

Her passing was confirmed in a public statement by the presidential library.
“Our beautiful Tatiana passed away this morning. She will always be in our hearts.”
Details of the Illness
Within a personal essay late last year, Schlossberg revealed that she had been found to have AML, a form of leukemia with a rare mutation.
Acute myeloid leukemia is a cancer that originates in the bone marrow and blood cells.
Those close to her has requested privacy as they cope with their sorrow.
